academic lectures
During general body meetings (GBMs), BMES hosts many guest speakers through out the year. Our list of speakers range from people local to the university like professors to medical professionals like surgeons. Lectures last for about forty-five minutes after meeting announcements, followed by a question and answer session with our lecturer. Lectures give insight into biomedical engineering careers, current research being done, and skills needed after college in engineering.
