Our chapter is formed by both the undergraduate and graduate students of the Mechanical, Aerospace, and Biomedical Engineering (MABE) Department at UTK. The chapter provides opportunities for students to establish a professional network and activities to communicate the latest technological advances in the field of Biomedical Engineering.

Our Mission

The Biomedical Engineering Society, UTK Chapter, shall promote the profession of Biomedical Engineering through the organized effort of the Chapter in study, research, and discussion of the fields of Biomedical Engineering and the dissemination of knowledge thereby gained

- Increase involvement in the BME community
- Promote leadership, networking, and research among members
- Learn from faculty, alumni, and industry about BME
-Expose members to the world of BME early in their career
