The committee travels to local elementary, middle, and high schools to interact and engage with the community. This group of students aim to inform others about the process of becoming a STEM major and what it means to be a Biomedical Engineer specifically. |
DESIGN TEAM COMMITTEE
This committee is a group of BMES students who identify and choose a problem in the biology and medical world that they want to fix. The team researches and talks with experts about their issue in order to be able to solve it. They design a solution and full functioning product over multiple weeks they believe will improve the world. Once their product is completed the group presents their product to experts and faculty. They also compete at the National BMES Conference with other chapter teams from around the country, displaying their hard work. |
